If you have a curiosity about the past and are looking for a way to share the joy of discovery with others then volunteering at Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum (JPPM) is for you.

You are invited to join us as we strive to preserve, interpret and present Maryland’s remarkable history to all who visit JPPM. There are many ways to volunteer, including the areas below:

Do you consider yourself to be a lifelong learner?  Would you like to interact with the archaeologists, educators, and historians who bring Southern Maryland’s past to life?

Docent Training Program - Looking for a new and exciting way to volunteer? The Docent class for 2015 has already been completed, but check back in November and December to sign up for 2016. If you are a lifelong learner this may be just the program for you!
