Since 1983, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museumís (JPPM) team of dedicated staff have connected people to the past through history, archaeology and the preservation of Marylandís cultural resources.

Current Openings:

This position will recruit and schedule volunteers for programs and events at JPPM. The Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate and develop volunteer orientation and training with all departments at JPPM. The Volunteer Coordinator will also assist with serving the public by providing Visitor Services to onsite guests as well as offsite inquiries regarding the Park & Museum operations and activities. This position works Monday through Friday and occasionally on the weekends.

JPPM partners with local colleges and universities to provide intern opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students. Students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience in fields such as archaeology, curation, museum management, historic preservation and archaeological conservation. Internship opportunities will be posted as they become available.
