Since 1983, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museumís (JPPM) team of dedicated staff have connected people to the past through history, archaeology and the preservation of Marylandís cultural resources.

Current Openings:

Education & Exhibition Spec I (Education Coordinator)  (closes on 10/31)

The main purpose of this position is to conduct and develop educational programs, helping to improve public accessibility to, and understanding of the history and archaeology of, the property and the region. The position is responsible for scheduling, coordinating and giving educational programs primarily to school groups during the academic year and to general audiences during the summer season.

JPPM partners with local colleges and universities to provide intern opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students. Students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience in fields such as archaeology, curation, museum management, historic preservation and archaeological conservation. Internship opportunities will be posted as they become available.
